Basketball is a team sport. No matter whether we are training or playing freely. Be kind to each other, stay constructive, stay a team!
If something is bothering you, talk about it and solve it as a team.

Basketball is a fair sport. A foul is a foul. If you disagree, come to an agreement. Let it go sometimes and be nice to each other.

Watch out for each other. The risk of injury increases in basketball, especially if there are too many different skill levels mixed together and everyone is really up for a powerful game. So please make sure that the skill level differences in competitive games aren't too big and play chilled out games on purpose once in a while. 🦥

For us, it's all about having fun. Sure, winning is fun, but you don't have to win at all costs. Be kind to each other and treat yourself sometimes.

Tolerate the fact that people tick differently. Ideally, you can even respect them for it. The only thing we do not tolerate and do not respect is disrespect and intolerance. This includes physical violence as well as psychological violence such as racism and bullying. If mistakes happen, please apologize. Differences of opinion are normal and arguments are okay. If you get off on the wrong foot, talk to each other and try to understand the other person. Shake hands and move on.

Play with people you don't even know yet and who may be different at first glance. They could become new friends. Bring them in, make them part of your group and get to know each other.

When you join one of our times slots, you represent Basketball Taufkirchen - even if you are not a member. That's why you take responsibility for what you do and make sure that everyone learns to appreciate us basketball players as decent people.
